Job 23:12 ~ I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food.

Matthew 6:25 ~"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 
 
John 4:34 ~ Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

John 6:27 ~ Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

Romans 14:15 ~ Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died. 
 
Romans 14:20 ~Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense. 
 
1 Corinthians 8:13 ~ Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.

  1. So the bottom line is to not make food an idol or over God. Food is a "tool" for our bodies to live, and the cravings and desires we have, like an addiction, shouldn't be over God. Praise be the name of the Lord. I was tempted yesterday, but did not yield because of My Lord and I wanted to honor Him with my body. Also caused me to seek alternatives Like custard made with xylitol. It was so much better made with that sweetener than made with Splenda. .I will leave this verse here.
